Friday, March 07, 2008 - Rest Day

We spent a very relaxing day at John & Diana's, working on the bike, checking up on bills, working on the website and the route, and chatting with John & Diana. Diana tended to all our needs while we vegged out totally. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time visiting with them.

Another high school classmate of Pat's, Graham Patterson, and his wife Carol, live in nearby Richmond and Graham's sister, Jean, happened to be visiting at the time. The three of them joined us for a delicious dinner Diana prepared for us, and the dessert that Carol provided, and we spent a very pleasant evening together.

We felt very lucky to have had the chance to spend this special time with John and Diana. We wish them all the love, joy, and peace they seem to have in abundance to continue to support them during John's illness, and hope to see them both in October for the high school reunion. They are truly special people.
